The 1,450 watt Krups XP9000 super automatic coffee and espresso center automatically grinds, tamps, brews, and disposes of spent grounds for very convenient operation. Automatic controls and an over sized digital display, as well as an adjustable central steam nozzle help preparing perfect cappuccino and latte at the push of a button. This machine also provides hot water for tea and hot chocolate. Display shows 2 lines of text in bright white lettering and is easy to read and available in 5 languages. Pre-programmed settings have 4 options for espresso and coffee, hot water, steam, latte and cappuccino. An easily accessible side panel can be used for customized programming, including coffee strength, cup size, water temperature, and steam time. Other features are 15-bar compact monoblock high-pressure pump, an integrated conical grinder, a heating element with two thermostats, a bypass for pre-ground coffee, a removable brewing unit, an empty bean sensor, a removable 88-ounce water tank, a cup-warming plate, and an integrated drip tray with automatic sensor to indicate when the water tray needs to be emptied. This Swiss made espresso machine comes in stainless steel finish. The price is around $2,200.
